Torr Energy was established by O&G professionals who saw a clear gap Sarawak needed a locally-rooted, technically rigorous engineering services partner that could match international standards without the international distance.
From our headquarters in Miri's Piasau Industrial Estate, we have grown from a focused fire and gas engineering firm into a multi-disciplinary organisation with six integrated service lines covering the full lifecycle of safety-critical systems for Sarawak's offshore and onshore energy sector.
Our founding team brings over 25 years of combined experience across PETRONAS, Shell, and international O&G operators. That field knowledge, combined with technology like the Torr Asset Management App and our in-house Torr Laboratory, gives clients technical depth and modern delivery in one partner.
Today, with 70+ team members across Miri, Bintulu, Kuching, and Labuan, Torr Energy is the most comprehensive locally-based engineering services provider in fire, gas, and electrical safety in Sarawak.

Torr Energy Sdn Bhd was officially incorporated on 27th November 2013, marking the beginning of our journey in the oil and gas industry. Our founders brought together over 25 years of combined experience to create a company focused on safety and engineering excellence.
